コメント (Comment of theme)：多くのカルデラはほぼ１回の噴火をおこしているのに対して，阿蘇カルデラは４回の大規模な噴火を起こしている．大規模珪長質火山活動は同じ所で何度も起こり得るのだろうか？４回の噴火を起こしたマグマの状態を知るため，そのマグマの化学組成の時間変化を観察する．(Many calderas have been formed by almost 1 large-scale pyroclastic
flow. But the Aso caldera has been
formed by 4 large-scale pyroclastic flow.
Is the large-volume felsic volcanism able to erupt repeatedly in the
same place? Therefore, I will observe the time evolution of the chemical
composition of this magma.)
研究をはじめた動機 (Motivation)：火山活動は，現在でも活発に起こっている現象であり，また，人間にとって様々な影響を与える．このような派手な活動を起こす原因を解明したかったから．(The volcanic activity is the phenomenon that is breaking out
actively in the present and also cause various influence to the human beings. I
want to clarify the cause of such a showy activity. )
